The PROTEIN PLUS diet is the former LESS CARB box diet, but under a different name. Why the change? From the beginning, it was a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet (providing between 35-40% of energy from carbohydrates and about 25-30% of energy from protein), but the name Less Carb emphasized carbohydrates, which blurred the difference between the Less Carb diet and the Low GI diet for many customers. PROTEINPLUS is a box diet designed for physically active people who want to reduce the carbohydrate content of their meals. This variant maintains the supply of carbohydrates at the recommended minimum level necessary for the proper functioning of the body and contains more protein, which, in combination with training, promotes muscle mass growth.

To ensure an adequate supply of protein in the diet, the amount of meat, fish, dairy products, and eggs has been increased, and products with a higher protein content (protein supplements, high-protein bread, skyr instead of yogurt) have been added. The Protein Plus box diet is not based on the principles of the ketogenic diet, but as a protein diet, it is not recommended for people with digestive disorders, kidney or liver disease, cardiovascular disease, or those who engage in intense and prolonged aerobic activity.
