Less Carb Diet

Less Carb Diet

Available calories: 1500, 1750, 2000, 2500, 3000 kcal

The LESS CARB set was created for physically active people, doing moderate intensity workouts, who want to reduce the carbohydrate content in their diet. This option keeps the supply of carbohydrates at the recommended minimum level, necessary for the proper functioning of the body. It contains more protein, which promotes muscle growth when combined with training. To ensure an adequate supply of the abovementioned macronutrient in the diet, the amount of meat, fish, dairy products and eggs was increased, and products with increased protein content (protein supplements, high-protein bread) were included. Foods rich in carbohydrates, e.g. groats, rice, pasta, are present in the Less Carb diet menu, but their quantity has been limited to provide about 35-40% of the energy from this macronutrient. Besides products of animal origin, the main source of fats are plant-based products such as nuts, seeds, avocados as well as olive oil and oil products.
